Cooee Holdings and Vetirus Animal Health are pleased to announce they have entered into a
strategic partnership with global reach.
The partnership is expected to accelerate Cooee Holdings’ product diversification taking them into
the bourgening pet snack food market globally. Cooee Holdings and Vetirus plan to commence
production of a new pet snack launching and the worlds first hyper allergenic dog cookie using
native Australian ingredients. This product is planning to launch in Australia in late 2024. With the
global pet snack industry valued at an estimated at $400m annually, the new pet snack food
products emanating from the partnership have the potential to generate which could deliver in
excess of $10 millon in annual sales within in a global market with est. sales of $34b and growing
Cooee Holdings is piorneering food change and set to go global, by excluding major food allergens
from their products and infusing them with Australian Native Superfoods. Cooee Holdings has a vast
and comprehensive pipeline set for all major categories across grogery and pet food channels. This
pipeline includes cake mixes, protein balls and savory snacks for humans as well as a wide range of
products for Pets from treats to shampoos and nutraceuticals.
Vetirus Animal Health is a next-generation pharma company based in Naples, Florida and London,
UK with a focus on natural biologic therapies for both human and veterinary markets.
The partnership is one of complementary expertise, resources and values.
Under the terms of the agreement, Cooee Holdings will provide Vetirus with access to its Australian
native ingredients and recipes and Vetirus will develop and produce novel products for the
Veterinary market.
Vetirus will provide access to its pharmaceutical research and development capability to Cooee
Holdings so it can trial new applications for its Australian native ingredients with a focus on Pet
Nutraceuticals.
The next stage of the partnership will be to develop a nutraceutical range of products based on the
known health benefits of Australian native flora. There is a planned global rollout which
commences with a dog treat and will rapidly expand to include cat treats followed some a line of
nutraceutical products for pets which include dental health, gut health and skin health. The
partnership aims to accelerate the commercialization of innovative products that improve patient
outcomes and support the growth of environmentally friendly practices by choosing organic
products that helps reduce pesticide use, protects biodiversity, and promotes more sustainable
farming practices. Encouraging the growth of organic agriculture worldwide can have significant
environmental benefits worldwide.
